First Friday Fandom is a Colorado Springs science fiction fan group. We meet on the (you guessed it) first Friday of every month to discuss science fiction, gossip, and eat brownies. First Friday Fandom meets at 8:00 pm at the home of Kent Bloom and Mary Morman:

Next Meeting Info

	The June meeting will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2009 at 8pm. The book will be A Brother's Price by Wen Spencer.
The July meeting will be held on Friday, July 3rd, 2009 at 8pm, however we will have Fourth of July cookout starting at 4pm. All are welcome and contact Terry Adams to coordinate sidedishes and things for the grill. Our discussion topic will be the short stories nominated for the 2008 Hugo award. By June, most or all of these should be available online.
The August meeting will be held on the second Friday, August 14th, 2009 at 8pm. Our meeting, which will be held the week after the Worldcon in Montreal, will discuss the August issue of Fantasy and Science Fiction magazine.
The September meeting will be held on Friday, September 4th, 2009 at 8pm. The book will be whatever wins the "Best Novel" Hugo for 2008.
	The October meeting will be held on Friday, October 2nd, 2009 at 8pm. The book will be the science fiction classic More Than Human by Theodore Sturgeon.
	The November meeting will be held on Friday, November 6th, 2009 at 8pm. The books will be the classic A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter Miller and it's posthumous sequel Saint Leibowitz and the Wild Horse Woman. We hope this will also provide a segue into a discussion of posthumously published novels.
The December meeting will be held on the second Friday, December 11th, 2009 at 8pm. The book will be a selection by Lee Modesitt, our Guest of Honor for COSine 2010.
