MileHiCon
MileHiCon, in the Denver area, is usually held in late October. It is the largest
of the local conventions, and has many different activities including gaming,
panels on a variety of topics, video and animé rooms, a dealer's room, and the
Critter Crunch (like Robot Wars).
MileHiCon is put on by members of DASFA, the Denver Area Science Fiction Association. They have regular meetings, in addition to running MileHiCon.

This Albuquerque science fiction convention takes place in August, typically
the weekend before Worldcon.

The 68th World Science Fiction Convention
The 2010 Worldcon will be held in Melbourne, Australia, September 2nd-6th, 2010.
Guests of Honor include Kim Stanley Robinson, Shaun Tan, and Robin Johnson.
Renovation - The 69th World Science Fiction Convention
The 2011 Worldcon will be held in Reno, Nevada, from August 17-21, 2011. Guests of Honor include Ellen Asher, Charles Brown, Tim Powers, and Boris Vallejo.
Chicon 2012 bid
The 2012 Worldcon will likely be held in Chicago, as they are the only bid submitted for the ballot in Melbourne this year.
Locus Magazine
Locus is a magazine covering various subjects of interest to fans of science
fiction, including news, reviews, lists of conventions and more.
Pikes Peak Library District
The library's website offers not just a searchable card catalog for all branches,
but also many listings of community events, local clubs, and an electronic reference
section. If you have your library card handy, you can place a hold on a book you
find online.

ABEbooks.comBibliofind and
ABEbooks are on-line sources for used and rare books. They have
extensive listings available from used book sellers all over the country. These
are both good places to go if you are looking for an out of print book that you
haven't been able to find locally.
Science Fiction &
Fantasy Bookclub
A science fiction and fantasy book discussion group that has been meeting in
the South-Denver area for the past eight years. They currently meet twice per
month at the Lone Tree Barnes & Noble bookstore near Park Meadows Mall. Generally
the group alternates between fantasy novels and science fiction, and they try
to hit as many sub-genres and authors as possible. Their website contains a great
deal of book and author information and some links to author pages and local sf
sites.

Nudity in Science Fiction
This site explores the works of various science fiction authors who have written
about societies where nudity is not taboo. Robert Heinlein is, of course, prominently
featured. ;-)
